If you’re going to be venturing out into the wilderness you’re going to want the right kind of gear. You may not be focused on how dope it looks or all its fancy features. You may only be focused on if it works. Although this is definitely one way to shop for your survival gear it’s another thing to enjoy using the items you have.
Here at Sirius Survival we think our stuff is not only practical but pretty darn cool as well. Here are some of our favorites.
If you’re anything like us then you probably already have a solar charger. We never want to be caught without our devices. Isn’t everything easier when you’ve got your cell phone on you? We get it. But this solar charger changes the game. It has three separate panels for maximum strength. Just because it has three panels does not mean it is three times as big. This guy only weight one pound! It’s super lightweight which means you can toss it in your bug out bag, clip it on to your backpack, or even keep it in the glove box of you car in case of an emergency.
Worried about it getting damaged? Well don’t because it has a waterproof case. It also has, amazingly, dual USB ports so you can charge more than one device at a time. Give your phone some extra juice while also charging your wireless headphones. Charge your watch while gearing up your rechargeable flashlight. The possibilities are endless.
Not only is this solar charger durable, lightweight, and versatile but it is also compact so you won’t be lugging around some bulky item. When folded up in its carrying case it is only 6 inches.
We often talk about getting the most bang for your buck. We know that if you’re going to be going a long distance you don’t want to be carrying too many things with you. That’s why this paracord kit is the perfect thing to take with you. It’s jam packed with survival essentials. The entire kit is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and weighs next to nothing. Don’t believe us that it carries over 20 survival items? We’ll prove it.
Fire Starting Rod: An essential for any kit. You definitely need a quick and easy way to start a fire. Can’t go wrong with having one of these.
Knife Blade: This blade is perfect for getting sparks to start a fire and can also be used to cut the paracord when/if needed.
Needle: This is just one of those items you should have because it has so many uses. Sewing, stitching, or using it with the paracord are just a few examples.

Fishing Line: None of the above materials would matter if you didn’t have fishing line. We’ve included 15 feet for you.

Let’s be honest, we all hope that we never find ourselves in our vehicles during an emergency situation. Can we ever really be sure that that won’t happen? It’s always a good idea to have the right tools with you wherever you are – and that includes in your car or truck. That’s why we love this piece of gear so much. It’s all the necessities to have in your vehicle during an emergency situation.
First and foremost it is a flashlight. This is obviously important to have if you’re stranded at night. It can also be a way to alert others where you are. In addition, it can help you view those dark and hard to see places of your car like under the seats or under the hood.
In addition to just being a flashlight it also has side panels that can strobe as well as illuminate red. This will signal to anyone seeing it that there is an emergency. It also has a detachable compass in case you have to leave your vehicle and travel elsewhere. The compass can help keep you going in the right direction.
The Driver Defender can be charged by two methods. It can be solar charger or charged with a USB cable. It also has a glass-breaking hammer. This is for any situation where you are unable to open a door and need to get out, or in I suppose. In addition to this hammer it has a cutting tool perfect for cutting seat belt in an emergency situation. This is a must have for your vehicle.
How many times have you misplaced one of your Airpods? Happens all the time doesn’t it? Well now it doesn’t have to. This magnetic strap cord is the perfect way to keep your Airpods safe. Attach to each end and then safely wrap the strap around your wrist, backpack, gym bag, or water bottle. The possibilities are endless. This not only keeps the Airpods together but also ensures that you won’t lose them. This strap can also be used while wearing the Airpods so they don’t fall out or jumble around.
The cord is available in 7 different colors to match whatever you’ve got going on. The magnets are strong enough so you don’t have to worry about the cord becoming disconnected during the adventure or workout.
Whether you plan on using this for hiking or during a workout you definitely won’t regret having this magnetic strap.
We might be biased but we think those above four items are pretty awesome. They are versatile, helpful, and can be used in a wide variety of situations. What you’re favorite item?
