This kit is excellent! Plus you can find anything additional you might want to include in your go-bag. I added more food & water supplies, plus a water-filtration straw, solar charger/battery backup, and an emergency radio. The backpack is especially useful. Even with all the additional items, there is plenty of room where I can add some clothes, a book or two, a bottle of wine, or whatever I think I may need in an emergency! But if you don’t add anything, there are adjustable straps to keep it smaller and more manageable. I highly recommend this kit, and it also got here really fast, even with free shipping. This pack has nearly every item I was looking for, after my comprehensive search, so I only needed to add a few small things I’d seen in other kits from Sirius and wanted to include. The quality and comprehensiveness of these kits looked better than any others I looked at, and they are. All of the tools and equipment are high quality, and as others have mentioned, the backpack itself is really well made and designed, with room for everything plus anything I might want to add, as well as straps and pockets to keep it all organized and under control. This kit is pretty comprehensive and high-quality, especially for the price. As others have noted, the back pack is excellent, as are the tools in the 15 in 1 survival kit that’s included. That kit was missing a couple of items (tinder capsule & s-hook), had another I’m unsure of what it’s for, and came in a soft molle case, rather than the hard case, but still probably more than I’ll ever need. I was a little disappointed about the tinder capsule, as that would be helpful, but not enough to take a whole star off…maybe 1/2. I added enough food and water to last 3 additional days, plus a few items I’d seen in other Sirius kits that I wanted to include in mine, but even if I hadn’t I would feel well-prepared for the recommended 3 days. Great choice for one!
