My kit just arrived and I’ve gone through it. I wish they had pre-packed everything into the backpack but at least individual packaging makes it more efficient to inspect everything as you pack it. So far, everything looks good. Many of the items are made with metal or metal casings instead of plastic. The backpack is smaller than I expected; but by no means tiny or too small (though I guess we’ll see once I add a set of clothes, toiletries, and some other items needed to bug out that aren’t included). I wasn’t able to compare it with the others; but I’m glad I went with the digital camo design. The camel pack is nice and larger than I realized. It’s hard to say whether this is actually a quality 5-star product without using the items in the kit. I know that it’s better to assemble your own go or bug-out bag so that you can ensure the quality of each component; however, this kit offered convenience that I needed as a beginner in emergency preparedness. So at the very least, it’s a great place to start. For now, I will give it 4 stars based on appearances, feel, the fact that all of the listed items arrived (intact and packaged well), and that the shipping time was acceptable (if a day late from FedEx’s initial projection).

I purchased this for my husband for our anniversary. After living through Hurricane Helene last year, and being without power or cellular signal for 17 full days, we realized we didn’t have things like a solar charger or even a weather radio. We always have MRE and bottled water but we got to thinking we needed more actual survival gear for emergency situations. I searched around and found Sirius, and did quite a lot of research before buying. I wanted to be sure we were getting quality gear- not just gear that looked cool, but wasn’t functional.
Everything was top notch quality, my former SF husband immediately laid it all out and inspected it for functionality and durability and said that everything was great, and didn’t need to be substituted or replaced. He was very happy with his gift, and we both appreciate knowing we are more prepared for emergencies now. I didn’t realize how reliant we were on cell phones for emergency broadcasts until cellular wasn’t an option.

Comprehensive, High-Quality, and Nearly Perfect. I recently received the Sirius Premium Survival 72-hour bug-out bag, and overall, I am incredibly impressed with everything in the kit.
The Pros: Quality and Delivery
One of my biggest concerns with ordering a pre-made survival kit was that it would be missing components or include cheap, “filler” items. That wasn’t the case here. Everything advertised arrived in a single, well-organized delivery. The bag itself and the internal gear are clearly made from durable, high-quality materials designed to withstand actual field use rather than just sitting in a closet. The kit is remarkably comprehensive; outside of one specific area, it requires very little supplementation. While the kit is thorough, there is one small, inexpensive addition that I feel should have been included as standard gear: duct tape. Given how vital this is for gear repair, I had to add it myself to round out the utility of the bag. Not really a big deal but would have been nice to have.
The Cons: The First Aid Gap
The main drawback—and the reason for the half-star deduction—is the included first aid kit. For a survival bag of this caliber, the medical supplies are fairly basic and “lacking.” To make this kit truly survival-proof, you will need to perform a substantial upgrade. I ended up purchasing a separate premium 250-piece MOLLE first aid kit. This allowed me to benefit from higher-end medical supplies and a larger bag that integrates perfectly with the Sirius backpack’s MOLLE system. If you already have a comprehensive first aid kit, this won’t be an issue for you.
Final Verdict
Pick this bag up if you’re serious about emergency preparedness, but too busy to source each individual item. The quality of the bag and the bulk of the included gear are top-tier. If you are willing to upgrade the first aid component and toss in some tape, this is easy decision to make. As a side note, after reviewing all of items for quality it took about an hour to pack the bag with the items, including items I added to the first aid kit.
